There are two main events that remain: the garter / bouquet toss and the dollar dance. We like to have the garter / bouquet toss immediately after the last formal dance (a lot of photographers like that, also). We highly recommend that if you are going to do the garter/bouquet toss that you limit it to adults. As DJ's, we can see the terror and embarrassment in the faces of people too young to enjoy themselves in that kind of a spotlight. If someone young catches an item, you may consider just skipping the placing of the garter, appointing a stand-in, or having the male put the garter on the female's arm. Then, we like to open the dance floor to everyone for about 15-20 minutes before the dollar dance. Remember, your guests have been on the sidelines watching the activities all day. They want to do something. They will enjoy an opportunity to dance.
