Master of Ceremonies Information

We spend a lot of time before your wedding day preparing the music and finding out about the schedule. You can completely customize what you want to include and what you don't want to include in the day. The same goes for the music. You can request as many songs as you want and request that certain songs are not played. If you fill out our price quote form, we will set up an account for you so that you can see our complete Master of Ceremonies forms - without obligation. We will show you small sections of it here to give you an idea of how extensive and complete they are.

One of the most exciting parts of the day is the introductions of the bridal party and the bride and groom. We want to know the correct pronunciations of everyone, the order they will be in, and the background songs to be played. But we don't stop there. The day of the wedding, the DJ will personally come out to where the bridal party is and make sure that everyone is in the same order that he will introduce and will verify with each person that he is saying their complete name correctly. He will take a moment and prep anyone giving a toast on how to sound better, and confirm with the couple everything that will happen before the meal is served.

Here are the details our forms go over with each couple using sample names of "Lisa" and "Matt" (my wife and me!)

THESE ARE OUR PREPARATION FORMS. UNTIL THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED, YOU CANNOT ENTER INFORMATION

Below is the information that we use at every wedding.  You can save the information and retrieve it later.

  • Please put precise time in the time in the 12 hour format, not 24: 2:00 PM, not 14:00
  • Please do not put long directions into small boxes.  Most likely, the information will get cut short and we will not know what you are talking about.  Please try to be concise and put the directions in a larger box for special instructions.
  • Write everything as it should be spoken by your DJ.  For example, don't write, "the couple would like to thank...", write, "Lisa and Matt would like to thank...".
  • Do not rush to fill out the forms, there are often last minute changes.
  • Please do not link to Spotify or any other online playlists
  • Any section or part you do not want to include in your day simply place an "X" in the spot for a response.
  • We need the information 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
  • You will still be able to view the details after submitting the form to us.

At most weddings, there will be some people who will only dance to the "Line Dances", and some people who will only have the courage to start dancing when one is played.  These people will leave disappointed if we don't play these songs.  That is why we would like to play the following songs even if you personally don't like them.  Please check "A" if we should play the song, or "B" if we can play using our best judgement, or "X" if we may not play the song:
A B X "The Electric Slide"
A B X "The Macarena"
A B X "The Chicken Dance"
A B X "The Cupid Shuffle"
A B X "The Cha Cha Slide"

Occasionally, someone asks us to help with a surprise for the couple. Our first priority is to provide the day that you planned. Therefore, we are obligated to ask you if someone can surprise you (ruining the surprise). If there is someone else that you will allow us to check in with about a surprise, please enter their name and contact information (email or phone). We will ONLY use this information if a surprise is requested. If this is blank, we will ask you to approve a surprise if asked.
